Mobile phone sat nav - accurate traffic and roadworks info
Discussion
Which mobile map app - on Andriod - will give me the most accurate roadwork / traffic information and navigate.
I have used Google maps in the past but have had a couple of occasions when it's either told me that the road is closed (when it's not) or vice versa.
I used Waze in the past and was rather unimpressed. - I am thinking of going with the Tom Tom paid for app - is it worth it?

When I last tried Google Maps, it marked a dual carriageway out of Leeds closed for a full mile (Stanningley bypass) when in fact only one lane was closed, TomTom accurately picked up roadworks and that the road was still open.
I find not much difference between Google and Tomtom overal for traffic and routing, Google has the edge on traffic accuracy, but I prefer TomTom routing, its more pessimistic with taking "faster" routes using side streets than Google, which suits me as I'd rather stay on a main road for 1 mile for 1 minute longer in traffic than go trough a mile of side streets negotiating parked cars, lots of junctions etc.
