Hi everyone,

I've spent some time trying to find an LED torch which is rechargeable and comes with a bracket or cradle which can be mounted in the vehicle. I've definitely seen them in the past, but now I can only find one or two really specialist ones with huge price tags.

Has anyone got one that they can recommend?

Thanks in advance smile

What about the ones that plug into the 12V socket, similar to the ones in the link below:

Are these too small for what you're looking for?

Thanks Cuprabob,

I did see those. Quite a clever idea but I think they are a little on the fiddly size. Plus my Landy doesn't actually have a cigarette socket smile

I found this which would be ideal if it wasn't £200..

That's more the sort of thing I'm looking for.

I did find loads which you could just shove in a glovebox or something and plug in while they're in there, but I was hoping for something a little neater. Plus I also don't have a glove box biggrin

What about a magnetic one?

No idea if this specific one is any good or not but tons of this type available:

Not sure why you would need a rechargeable torch in a cradle? (Apart from mentioning neatness!) Most LED torches at mid lumen output will have tens to fifty hours of battery power and not need constant power.

You should be able to get any LED torch and buy a couple of C clips to hold it (or alternatively if they come with a ballistic nylon holster then just drill that into a plastic panel) . There are loads of these torches that don't have cradles but recharge via microUSB to USB. I think you will have to put in a dual USB outlet. Not sure what your budget/power requirements are, but look on Amazon for Olight, Klarus, Fenix etc
