Following on from my previous post...

The new bluetooth radio that was fitted in my VW Beetle 2001 model, was draining the battery and making the car go flat.

So I think the best thing is to put the factory radio back in, however, stupidly its now broken due to a leak in the garage, so I can buy a factory radio on ebay fro around £20-£30.

However, I don't really understand this unlock code thing. If I buy an old one , how do I get this code and whats the process of fitting it ???

Thanks!

There is a reason they are cheap ....

A decent seller should have the code for the unit.

It could be the ign feed and permanent feed to the radio being wrong or maybe try a different head unit altogether? Ask a friend if they have one you could swap for a few days to see if it’s the same?
