Bluetooth connection

I'm a bit puzzled by the Bluetooth on my new ( to me ) car.
Its a 2012 Insignia, with Parrot C3100 bluetooth.
When I try to pair my Galaxy S7, it always says " incorrect pin number"......but I've never put a pin number in.
I've tried the reset on the parrot, no difference, I've deleted cache on phone, no difference......
Is there a person with better knowledge of these things ( that would be everybody ) who may be able to give me some pointers.

Check the notifications on the S7 and that there isn't one to input a PIN. If there is put in either "1234" or "0000"
