Hi all,

Im driving a 20 year old Mercedes SL and Im looking for someone to remove the 15 year old Kenwood system with satnav device in the boot, plus CD boot multi changer, plus the wiring loom and just fit me a simple Radio CD player (for now).
Maybe parking sensors in the future and who knows, even a dash cam.

But they have to be competent, and work sympathetically around the car as the interior is immaculate.

I'd almost prefer a mobile guy as I can monitor the work as he goes.

Im based in Maidenhead. Any recommendations ?

Thanks

Remove stereo fascia
Remove and unplug current stereo
Insert and plug in new stereo
Replace stereo fascia

Unbolt CD changer
Unplug CD changer
Remove CD changer

What am I missing?

You must have money to burn if you want to pay someone a few hundred quid to come and do it for you.

Idealy I'd want all the old wiring loom removed, this old Kenwood sat nav system seems to have loads of it between the dash and the boot space, plus long term I may want parking sensors fitted, dash cam even, Im not sure. I dont know whats availible and I want to first talk it over with ICE fitter and see what they can do/offer.
But generally I do all my own car/bike maintenance.
