Speaker Damage

I would appreciate any thoughts on the damage to this speaker, and whether or not performance will be affected?

The middle bit looks like something that is here to look good. It could be a tweeter but I don't think so. If the speaker buzzes then it is junk. If not then it is fine, as long as it isn't missing treble ( if the middle is indeed a tweeter,). Look up the model number. If it is two way then the middle bit is a tweeter.
