Will wiring for NextBase compatible with blackvue dash cams?

As above folks....

Currently have a hardwired Next Base 312 in my car

Am wanting to change to a black vue and am wondering if the existing wiring will be compatible with the black vue?

Looks like the Nextbase uses a mini USB connector, but the Blackvue use a cylindrical DC connector, so it won't connect without replacing some of the cabling.

Changing the connector itself OR buying an adaptor would be the most logical choice......

My dashcam runs via a microUSB lead of my own making, plumbed into a 12v DC to 5V DC convertor and then soldered directly into a W5W bulb base, which is plugged into the light above my sun visor. if I can bash that together in 10 minutes from £3 worth of parts, then i'm damn sure anyone can change a USB connector to a DC jack with basic tools.
