Hi

I'm after a solar battery charger/conditioner that will deliver at least 10w, has a regulator so it doesn't over charge and a diode to stop reverse charge. Needs to work via cigarette and croc clips.

My plan is to leave it connected come day or night for weeks on end to keep the battery topped up.

I don't have power where the car is parked, so solar is my only option.

Anyone got any recommendations please?

Thanks

Unless it's a massive panel on the roof of a van I can't see it adding much charge.
Would work in summer in a car if positioned well but can't see it adding much this time of year.

Xenta solar briefcase 13w. I bought mine from ebuyer a few years ago and it keeps the battery topped up on one of infrequently used cars.

Thanks very much, does anyone know solar chargers that have an inbuilt regulator?

Thanks

I've got one of these and it keeps the battery fully charged even in winter.

No charge controller required as it rarely goes over 800mA
