Just had the ACT air box & coolant hose kit fitted along with Raceproved's pre-oiler kit. Big thanks to Dan and Colin at Taylor TVR for another impeccable job. The pre-oiler and the air box really are top quality pieces of kit.

Here are some initial pic's (click on the main picture which will take you to Thumbsnap from where you can see the other 2 pics) - I'll put a vid up later of the engine on start up and running. Initial impression with the pre-oiler is that the engine is definitely quieter, particularly on start up. The pre-ignition routine couldn't be simpler - turn the key and wait for around 7 seconds and the engine fires up.

Now the air box is supposed to give up to an extra 7-10lb/ft torque at between 4-6k rpm and today I didn't get the car above 3k rpm but I could really feel some extra low down torque from as little 1,200 rpm - it just pulled noticeably more smoothly at low revs. I'm guessing it might just be giving a little bit more than 7-10 lb/ft extra otherwise I doubt I would have noticed it. I'll report once I've had a chance to see the effects over the entire rev range.
