Now after spending a large amount of money on my friends Tuscan S engine to convert it to Omex 710 and reconditioned throttle bodies from Jenvey with new racing leads coil pack plugs oil and filter ect ect we have come to a agreement. The car has always run lumpyish since ive know it its had the bodies balanced a few time and it has come back a lot better.

After i fitted all the Omex stuff it fired up 1st time and then it was time for mapping at Northampton Motorsport , while mapping we noticed nb 3 exhaust was little red also it would not hold a load down the bottom in 4th anyway cut a long story short we ended up with 311 at the wheels around 350 flywheel at 7200 rpm and 330ft with a super smooth graph.

Wanting to get the the bottom of things i soon found the problem in the form of 60 psi on nb 3 !!!! with 240 psi on the rest. So now we are going the LS3 route via Topcats Racing so 480 hp with 100% reliability.

So do i sell the complete engine and gearbox in one package or do i break it ! the throttle bodies have done dyno mileage only as well ????

Swap to LS3 because of compression loss on one cylinder???

I'd check the piston rings first...

No it really needs new cams and lifters and as you well know when you open one of these engines up it usually opens up a can of worms plus i would not take this to the ring with this engine in it. So now is a good time for a upgrade. Rings i dont think so it does not smoke at any point nor does it use much oil or oil the plug up. Valve seat i think.

I'd be interested in the engine with or without ancills/throttlebodies etc. I want to build a development SP6 and need a base, it will have new pistons anyway, so not a problem with me. PM me or anyone else with a dead engine.
