TVR Power have some pictures on their site of a Speed 6 with NOS:

http://www.tvrpower.co.uk/upgrades/43-litre-engine...

So they may do it or know of someone who does.

You might want to check the link, that's a 4.3 upgrade.

Yes that's correct, but if you look the red and blue pipe's on the inner wing have connection's to the underside of the T/B's which I believe are the NOS injectors.

I am not sure if thats what them pipes are for. The second pic shows what looks like a direct port set up under the TBs. It would be interesting to know the system used, power levels and most importantly if the system has been tested successfully.
Anyone know more?

Looks to me like the AC is being re-gassed.

But am happy to be proved wrong

Ummm upon a second look there are some lines going to the TB's and some interesting looking valves/solenoids on the bulkhead.

There is definately a direct port nitrous system. Looks like a 'NOS' kit with fogger nozzles..... which isnt the best IMO

Dom did a Nitrous install on a friend's 3.6 Tamora, who had it for a year or so and he said it worked well, as you'd expect from Power.

I never had chance to have a pax ride in it.

Thanks for responses so far.....but not too much to work on as yet, but has anyone on here actually had NOS fitted on a Speed Six?

Cheers. BB.

The TVR Power guys told me they have nitrous experience when I was up there. The power graph seems to show with and without.

I run a couple of Wizards of Nos systems (non-TVR) and would suggest you give Trevor a ring. He's likely to have done one before.

+1 For Trevor.

If you are considering nitrous, how much power will you be looking to add?

I am not familiar with any inherent weaknesses in the SP6 but i would have thought a 50 shot would be perfectly safe. Maybe a 150 shot could be used without any major modifications.

Dom told me he had fitted a NOS system to his Sagaris while he was testing his 4.3 upgrade. Give him a call, i'm sure he would be happy to talk to you about it.

Speak directly to Trevor at the 'wizards of nos'. http://forum.nitrous-advice.org/viewforum.php?f=6

Or an alternative that also comes highly recommended not too far from you near Doncaster is http://www.john-sleath.com/

I was at TVR Power a while back and remember seeing them putting a NOS system in a customer Tuscan along with a 4.3 engine. The owner wanted 500bhp IIRC. Must have been up and running for a while as they were wiring the NOS in a good few months back

I raced a Tuscan at Shakey a few times 1 day in 2009 and he said he was getting a 4.3 rebuild. He was impressed with my nitrous. See here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqohQPsbF5Q

Power for me, Dom's done quite a bit of 'NOS' stuff in his time and is a fan.
There are alternatives but their attitude wasn't for me. I'd definatly go with Dom.
