Right got all the Racing Green Omex kit fitted i also added a set of recon throttle bodies becouse the spindle were worn. Ive removed the cats so now it will wake the dead in the next county and started on the button and settinled down to a nice 1000 rpm cold idle.

Ive made a breather box so the tube from the oil tank will be vented of into this will have to see if any fumes get into the cabin. Will get some pics with it on the dyno next week ive also changed the oil and filter added a new set of quality leads plugs and coil pack.

Idle control valve I presume?

Why have you gone for a separate oil tank breather, and what's the kenlowe thermostat for? I also note that you appear to have blocked up the two holes in the lower half of the airbox? These are there to stop the engine sucking water into itself should you find yourself in deeper than expected standing water.

Anyway, look forward to seeing the results. smile Do you have a plot from before the OMEX was fitted? Also, have you got it set up to do sequential or batch injection batch?

Yes its a Kenlowe remote unit , the MBE is usless were the fans are consurned eather 1 works half power or both half power they cut in when the temp is near 100 so sod that now they cut in at 93 and both at full power just keep the wiring the same guage as the original fan wires and use a in line fuse. I also got a alley rad made with a Aston Martin Vanquish core now she runs sweet all year round and as you know some Tuscans run cool some hot well this run hot all the time ive also added a cooler bigger holed thurmostate.

How does that work then? Each fan is powered via its own relay that the ECU controls. As far as I'm aware the fans aren't variable speed and are supplied with a switched 12V so are either "full power on" or off? Am intrigued to find out if this is not the case.

Also does your car have AC? If so then the RHS fan has a secondary controller on it in the form of the trinary switch.

Hi there , Its easy the Kenlowe controler is a stand alone unit so you just need to remove the wiring from
the fans to the ECU. Ive taken a live from the battery straight into a 30 amp fuse this goes to the
unit. Earth to the chassis then there is just the wiring to the fans. As i said use good size wire and
solder the joints followed by shrink rap. Ive set the fans to come on at 93 degrees and there on full
power it takes 30 secs or so and they cut off at 88 degrees. You would then think they would on all the time
with this small temp window but its not the case. As i said ive have a rad made and im running a big
bore thurmostat. The customer is well happy and he will happily sit in the london traffic in the height
of summer knowing that everything is running cool.

You could have done all that through the Omex, Rad Fan1 and Rad Fan2 relay triggers both run up to the ecu and are controlled on a LS output. You can then set the desired on and off temps for each fan in the software.
