Adaptive readings
Discussion
Hi,
Have just hooked my Tam up to the laptop for the first time. Have reset the throttles and tweaked up the idle as it was getting down to 600 ish when cold (I'm at 32.5k, and halfway between services, last one was a 12 k in October). Apart from the idle everything seems to be running well.
Question: Do I need to reset the adaptive map as well? No faults logged by the ECU.
I could also do with some advice on reading the adaptives data from the software. Some of the readings look a bit high/low?
Thanks in advance for any info, advice or suggestions,
Best regards,
Sam

Just to say how pleasantly surprised by the way she's running after the reset. Much crisper and pulling stronger, and less soot around the exhaust pipes. Idle is better too. Didn't think she was running badly before but the difference is definitely noticeable. Will probably take GV's advice and get an interim service done at 3k in future.
