Idle adjuster thread gone

My idle adjuster thread has gone. The lock nut won't do up tight enough so the screw can move, due to engine vibes the screw has undone itself slightly. Any ideas for a fix as the car is now idling at 5-6oo rpm and not feeling right?

Tap it through next size up M4-M5?

Or wrap it with plumbers PTFE tape to get you going
