Hi,

Just removed the exhausts and cats for the engine removal and have found that the upper/rear bank is running very rich with the pipes sooted up with the lower ones completely clear.

Should I replace the lambda while the engine is out?

The gasket has blown and possibly this could be causing the problem but I am not sure.

Not checked anything else at the moment as the priority is to get the engine out and the head off.

The car has only done 6000 miles loads of power but also lots of steam out of nearside tail pipe.

I will be getting the car serviced, and it was planned to go last week until I found that the gasket had gone.

Looks like it's far too rich compared to mine, both banks! Or is mine too lean ?
