Possible CATs failed?

Thoughts on failed CAT, Top Cat, Back 3 cylinders.

Car runs poorly and after short run the TOP CAT is glowing bright RED and car feels like it is misfiring and weezy but has new leads, plugs and a coil pack 9 months ago.

Could the CAT have failed and be blocking the gases flowing out causing the poor running?

Might be time to decat -. Speed six Cerbera with head Gasket recently done, so mechanically sound with good oil and temp control prior to this happing a couple of nights ago?

Have you connected it up to the laptop to check if the lambda censors are OK or that anything else is wrong.

Turned out to be Lambda not secured in correctly and drawing in air which gave false info! (Bugger to tighten)

But looks like it has killed CAT, will find out when I take exhaust off to inspect what's left in there!
