Hi,

Just started taking the engine out as I suspect that the head gasket has blow, well I hope that's what it is and not something worse. Can someone tell me what the torque settings are for the speed 6 engine and can someone tell me what the best head gasket to use is?

Thanks

I believe it's 40lbft from the centre out then 80lbft, hopefully someone can confirm this. Good luck.

80 ftlbs, start from the middle out 35 ftlbs then 80 ftlbs, leave half an hour then re-torque 80 ftlbs

Thanks for that info 'TVR Power' but I have to ask why the half hour wait? Also, I presume you're the actual 'TVR Power' or a representing bod so may I take the opportunity to ask if it's possible to give me any info on my Tuscan as there's a note in my log book stating you had it way back in November 2001. Would you still hold records as to what was done? Thanks in anticipation, Jed.
