TVR Power Sp6 4.5

Dropped into Power this morning for a chat about the Tam exhaust upgrade and ended up getting a drive in Dom's 4.5L test Sagaris.

Quite simply the engine is epic...taking all of the free reving character of the Sp6 and giving it an XXL set of bks. The added torque is lovely and makes 'swift progress' in every day driving thoroughly enjoyable...give it a flex of the right foot and the result is simply brutal and relentless. A full on sensory assault with license losing additive qualities...I still can't scrub the grin off my face and the drive home just cemented the need to feed my Tam some TVR Power 'viagra'.

Infact, the 4.3 should be more than enough for all but the seriously derranged. I'm not a big fan of stat based dick swinging but it genuinely was the character combined with the added grunt that made it compelling for me...now I just need to convince my wife she won't miss the money.

For anyone who feels their Trev is losing it's ability to make passengers soil themselves...go have a chat with Dom about a test drive.

Certainly was...also surprisingly easy to drive and laid the power down in a very linear, usable way...if that makes sense


Just need to find a bundle of notes and my Tam will be off to Cov for some open bonnet surgery.
