Hi all, Im fairly new here but have been reading for a while. I have a 2003 Tuscan S and the robber who sold it to me neglected to mention the valves had massively receded and it needed a new head. Anyway since the motor was out getting a brand new head I had the bottom end freshened up aswell and the engine is basically new now. However When its warm it wont turn over 'Almsot like battery is flat' Anyone had this before? Could it just be the heat soak getting at the starter and it simply needs replacing? Starts and turns over fine when cold. Any info would be great hanx

i had exactly the same issue with mine, i also put it down to the starter motor, turned out to be the battery was fooked (several cells very low on fluid)

i also thought it turned over fine but when it let me down and i jumpstarted it from my other car it turned over much faster than "normal"

try jumping it could well be just the battery
