Oil hose concern
Discussion
I noticed my oil hose from the top up tank to the bottom of the engine block had a sharp crease in the middle of the pipe/hose which I only noticed whilst I had the front drivers side wheel off. I have had a look if I can rotate the end to ease the bend, but I am not sure if this is going to make any difference.
Is this normal or will the pipe straighten once the engine warms and the oil circulates around the engine, if not should I just purchase a replacement hose - part No E6547?

I would change that hose, or at least try to run it straighter so it wont crease. Anything that can reduce or block the oilflow must be taken care of. I think the hose will crease even more when it gets warm.
The hose is the return from the engine to the oiltank, if it gets blocked you will get to much oil in the engine which can/will damage the engine. These hoses are very stiff, so something must have happened to it or somebody has used a lot of force when mounting it like that. It should be disconnected from the oiltank at service, there is a small filter in that connection that should be cleaned while changing oil.
If it is the original hose that is there maybe you should have a hose with a different lenght to avoid the crease. You can get a hose like that made at any company that works with hydralics, then you have the possibility to choose length and maybe make one that is stainless steel braided (for the look ).

To echo what the others have said, if it's the original, that pipe is pretty rigid and that kink must have taken some doing.
I had to get one quickly last year and ended up using Pirtek to make me one. The cost was about 20 quid more than the TVR parts places.
If you get one and fit it, make sure it doesn't rest against the chassis rail at the bottom as the movement of the engine will damage it. I learned that the hard way following the engine re-fit last year by an ex main dealer.
