Got carried away!

Got my cam cover painted Ford Ultimate Green (same as the new Ford RS colour). Will look great with my carbon insert, however my mate decided that he thought he would add a bit more of a flourish as I had some carbon sheet lying around.

The result was this:

Now that looks very nice! Was it a simple strip down, prime and spray job with a gun?

Spray gun and loads of heatproof lacquer. Came up lovely. Will post pics when its fitted.

Heatproof lacquer? Never heard of it or seen it on paint suppliers' websites; any ideas where I can get my paws on some?

Ah, that's just normal lacquer then! I've got some 2k on the shelf in my garage; happy days! Now all I need to do is find an outrageous colour!

They have done a number for TVR's and no issues, so fill your boots.
