As the post suggests. If you are going to reset the Throttle pots and adaptives is this best done with a fully warmed engine, cold or with the engine not running (if thats possible?)

Late answer:

Throttle reset is possible any time. If they read something around 15% then it´s fine. Be aware that if both measures are exactly the same, somthing is wrong with ine of them. They should slightly differ.

Adaptive reset is done, when you finished your synchronization work with the throttles or any time in between and one final reset. The engine should be fully warmed when you do so.

Hope that helps,
Björn.

Thanks, Why should they not read the same? I think they are almost identical when closed but differ slightly as the pedal is depressed by 2-3%

Yes you are right. After the reset they both should read the same, but slightly differ, when engaging the throttle linkage.

If one is knackered, the ECU will use the other ones measure to control the opposite bank of the engine.

Björn.
