Hi all, my 02 tam has a noise from the front of engine when its warm, its ok when cold though, i assume its the front bearing in the timing chain sprocket, my question is i want to do the racing green needle roller bearing conversion, can it be done with the engine still in the car?

Just a thought, is it the cam chain touching the cover. I had two engines that had the tell tale signs. Somewhere I have photos, I must dig them out, as there was some interesting reading on the subtle changes in the engineering of these engines?
