Could be the basics.
Did you know the seller ?
Has he tried to service and tune it himself ?

Good luck.

How do you reset the adaptive maps? Is there a program for lap top or is there a plug in device? If so how does one go about getting either? Or is it done differently to this?
Many thanks DG

A quick Google for TVR ECU Software will bring up a few sources to download for free. You'll also need a lead/connector to connect to your ECU; these are available from most TVR Specialists, I got mine from CleverTrevor for about £25. Unless your laptop is fairly old, you'll also need a serial port/USB adaptor to plug the lead in as the lead uses a serial connector.

Many thanks, I'll be straight on to it and ordering it all up along with the rest of my goodies for the winter revamp!
