Engine Timing?
Discussion
When my Tamora gets hot and both engine fans come on, it starts to pink. I'm 95% sure that the second fan coming on is knocking the timing out(and its only when the second fan is on).
Its not very often a problem in this country but when I'm abroad or on track it causes a problem.
Has anyone had this or able to give advice?
Thanks in advance!

I`ve been told its fairly common for "factory standard" ECU's to pink..Its not very often a problem in this country but when I'm abroad or on track it causes a problem.

My Sagaris does it too but I usually drop a bit of octane boaster in - only happens when it gets to sit in alot of traffic and get ultra hot.
I`m tempted by the ECU tho
Graham - if you take it easy during these times (i.e. no real acceleration) is there still detonation occuring? (i.e. when u can`t hear it..)
