How much is a Speed 6 Engine Block worth?

Im considering upgrading to the latest spec block as part of my rebuild. The latest block offers improved cooling, oil flow and strenght, so i want to sort it for good whilst its out.

Question is - whats a block worth? Serviceable, with good liners etc. Is it worth selling on to recoup some costs?

sorry I can not give the answer but I would be very interested to learn as from which year were these "improved blocks" produced / assembled?

Rob it is difficult to say if someone is looking for a block as theirs has failed they may well pay a reasonable price for it as most of the breakers want to sell complete bare engines for silly money

Funky Jo, the block may be something special to the builder actually, would rather not say publicly who it is until i get a few things sorted out but will PM you.

Damn, I never thought to ask for my old block as a coffee table! What a wasted opportunity.
