Camshaft lobe scoring

Hi

I need a little bit of advice please....

I've got the camshaft cover off and am checking the tappet clearances at the moment.
Looking at the camshaft lobes there is an interesting wear pattern on them and i wonder if it is right.

Lobes on cams near middle of both camshafts show little wear, lobes nearer the ends show slight scoring. However one lobe on a cam for the exhaust valve of cylinder 6 shows some reasonably deep scoring, totally at odds to other lobes.

What should i be looking for in terms of camshaft wear and when should i be worried ?

Also, is there an easy way to check for follower wear without removal of camshafts ?

That sounds consistent with some other posts I've seen on this forum
Cly 6 seems to be a problem spot on the exhaust side
Have a search on here about 1 month back if memory serves
