Hi,

I've got some new finger followers to fit to the Exhaust side of my Speed Six Tuscan Engine. It's all striped but I can't see how to remove the finger follower shaft.

I've taken the stubb bolt out of the front of the engine, I see the inside of the shaft is threaded, is this relevent?

2 of the finger followers are really badly worn, hence the lost shim/ siezed engine/ now oil pressure/ jammed scavenge pump!

Cheers,

Richard.

Hi Graham,

the engine's still in the car, I was looking back there with a Mirror to see what was in the hole. Is it just a flat blade screw?

Many thanks, as alwasy!

Cheers,

Richard.

Grubscew TVR part E6027
It is hex allen but not sure on size.

I guess it is possible to remove with a bit of thought with engine in situ

not on mine,

the last "specialist" to work on the car has rounded the head off the grub screw.

It will need drilling out so the head has come off, which was hard work to say the least with the engine still in!

Nearly sorted now, just a matter of reasmbling it.

Cheers for the post.

Richard.
