Hi guys,

Been looking at silicone pipes that quite a few of the stores offer for the Speed 6 however some seem to show more pipes than others. For example TVRcarparts only show the main 2 Rad pipes where as TVRpower show a lot more.

What I would like to know is there any differences in the kits? They all seem to be £164 so sound like they would be the same.

I bought the ones from Clever...seem to be the same set as the ACT site offers (Tuscan HK012A set i think). Very nice, very pretty, fitted after minimal trimming and come with nice ss hose clips

Aside from looking pretty, are there any technical benefits to fitting silicon hoses?

doubtful ;-)
pretty, but perhaps longer lasting and less prone to perish

I have the ACT ones, and there are more than two in the kit. The problem with the orignals is once thet have been undone/removed they do have a tendancy to leak this does not seem to happen with the silicon ones.
