Hi,

I've seen the upgraded oil pump featured on this site, is it an engine out job to fit? Looks to me like the crank pully would pop off allowing access to the chain covers which I believe the oil pump is behind?

Cheers,

Richard.

yep its chain driven so would mean the engine out.

Not sure how many hours work that is but at worst 2 full days labour? So around £500? Plus then you might as well change the clutch and slave whilst the engine is out so another £800 plus then as the chain is off you might as well change that...... soon adds up lol. Mine is due for its MOT in March so plan on picking Richards brains about it then smile

My tuscan is at Dulfords getting a full rebuild at the mo. Should hopefully be ready with new stage 2 kent cams, finger followers, chains, clutch etc etc and the all new oil pump. Once i get it back will give an update of hows it going. Think I might be one of the first
