Just got my Tusc back from the guys in Racing Green - in addition to asking them to fit my new spark-plug cover (a la Biggriff ) I also asked them to fit one of their new cam-cover gaskets which they now have available. No more crappy sealant and what little top-end noise there was is now pretty much non-existent - the gasket raises the cam-cover by a few mm so there is no chance of any witness marks from the timing chain and the gasket also seems to act as a noise "dampener" (sp?) so I'm chuffed with that.
TB's/pots/idle etc were tuned up too after losing their balance somewhat over the 4K miles done since the last service. Runs lovely and smooth now but I'm still considering refurbing the TB's in the near future - RG are looking into this too at the moment.
Anyway, cheers guys!

well, I don't know much more than that to be honest matey - I think it's laid-on fibre-glass with thicker and better sealing outlets to sit around the throttle-bodies, the clips are fitted with special rivet-nuts which avoid the danger of losing small parts in the inside of the box. The bottom section holds the filter better and fit together more securely with the top section. Not sure about likely cost though right now, will have to wait and see,

Will RG sell just the gasket?
It is on their websitehttp://www.thetvrshop.com/TVR/Parts_details/RG%200...
Seems you can just order it.

Whitey - I think it's just a functional improvement in terms of the seal on the TB's. I don't think it is intended to be a performance increase although the more consistent the air flow is, the better the engine should be able to be set up and stay in tune I reckon.
Don't know if they are looking at internal trumpets or anything like that though......
