Airbox rivets can wreck your engine
Discussion
Just a quick "heads up" for all S6 engine owners.
The clips and fixings for the standard S6 airbox, on the Sagaris at least but I presume other cars too, are affixed with rivets
It is possible for these to shear, causing the end inside the airbox to be ingested into the engine and causing damage to whichever cylinder it finds its way into.
I would advice checking the airbox periodically, and possibly drilling out all the rivets and replacing with bolts and nylock nuts.

Araldite might be a better bet!The clips and fixings for the standard S6 airbox, on the Sagaris at least but I presume other cars too, are affixed with rivets
