Thinking about getting hold of one of these meters to measure and balance the TB's - anyone know what their "technical" name is and where I might get hold of one?

as far as I know its called a "syncrometer", I`m sure some guru will be along soon smile

There are lots to choose from. If you go for the simplistic one with a red float, you may find it needs a bit of guestimation as you can't keep float chamber vertical on No.6 throttle. Still works quite effectively though

Hmm, good point - and that's one cylinder I'd rather be sure on....I'll bear that in mind, cheers!

Here is what I use:

I have changed the gauge to a more sensitive one, same kind that is used for balancing carbs on a motorbike.
