I would personally sell it and stick the money in a savings account.

Reasons why I wouldnt store it is due to engines not liking to be sat around. Plus it would need work on it to get it started again any way (fluids, dry seals etc etc).

You might as well stick with the 2002 lump unless it hasnt had a rebuild and you have your worries about it.

If you don't mind but what was the reason for the total write off, terrible loss of a stunning looking car, and the reason for buying it back- possible project?

If money available I think I'd be tempted towards a rebuild to Racing Green/TVR power/Wilder/STR8 SIX spec. Then transplant it for the current engine and sell that.

Nice to live in an ideal World!

Sell the Tuscan engine and use the money to rebuild/upgrade the 2002 Tamora from 3.6L to 4.0L, put nitron shocks all round, fit alloy radiator, and fit ACT air box.

Had my 2002 Tamora engine rebuilt/upgraded to 4.0L RR by Richard at Dulfords, and all the above mods (See March's Sprint for the article on my upgrades).

Turned my Tamora into a proper beasty(saggy basher) now bounce.

Ian,
I think the 1500 quid or so it would sell for would fall short of doing all of what you suggest laugh
