Anyone here know anything about Racing Greens speed 6?

I receieved a text from them this morning stating that they will be launching their own Speed 6 at the Silverstone 24hr Britcar.

They have been working on a number of improvements and refinements to the engine, some of which I know about in confidence and which sound very interesting.

I'm probably going to pop into RG tomorrow (Saturday) morning. Do you know if the demonstrator is there?

Not sure; Woody is using (mechanic) is using it this weekend, so if he's in (probably) it will be there.

Most frustrating keeping it under 3k revs though, so be warned!

I popped in and the T350T demonstrator was there and I was offered a drive without asking for one.

I really like the absence of sewing machine noise. smile

As I mentioned in the other thread, mine's been in there to get that engine...

Look forward to getting it back soon...

I'd be tempted, only I haven't even finished running in my new engine yet and the last thing I want to do is go back to square one and start running it in all over again. hehe

Pity the sports exhaust fitted to the demonstrator pretty much drowned out the lack of noise and improved refinement that are meant to be the selling points of the new engine design though. smile

But I did notice the lack of sewing machine noise and, additionally really noticed it on mine when I drove home afterwards.
