At Cadwell yesterday, there was an orange T350 racing with a 'Wilder' speed 6 engine, sounded great and went like stink and best of all, was reliable, lets see how the rest of the season goes. I know the price of a 'Wilder' speed six is a lot more than a regular re-build however, you may only need one of them during your ownership of a speed six car.

I dont like to say anything but my speed 6 has currently done 34k miles and all seems well.

It gave the Tuscans a run for their money, if the weight of the T350 could be reduced who knows what would happen.

Thanks for the kind comments guys. Quite a few people came up to me at Cadwell and commented on the fantastic noise and the rather large flames on downshift. The side exit exhausts mean I can hear it too, luckily I can't see the flames!

The car was fantastic at Cadwell and we notched up a class B win in the second race (first SP6 win in the Dunlop Challenge) and a 2nd in class B in the first race after a poor start. I think we are also leading Class B in the championship too. Not a bad weekend all in all!

P.S. Graham, how is your car coming along?

It's looking good Ceejay, well done, looks like Joo has worked his magic on the suspension too, it look very solid.

Joo made me smile at Mallory because he seemed a bit disappointed that neither Cliff nor I asked for any adjustments!

It's possibly the nicest race car I've ever driven, incredibly good. It would be a real joy to drive in long endurance races.

The long term plan may be endurance stuff, it has a GT spec cage but it all boils down to budgets.

As for Joos supension work and car preparation, I think he's the most talented guy I've worked with. The suspension set-up and geometry has hardly been tweaked since Rockingham when he put on his best estimate of what I'd like and the car needed. I very much doubt anyone would have done better. Thankyou Joo.

Awesome. Great driving, great car etc..... Looks fantastic. Sounds terrific. Great advert for the Wilder engines. Hmmmmmm - second hand Cerb S6 plus wilder engine and protechs. All in for early £20K..... Starts to make sense!

I am due back in UK later this week for a 3 week break. I aim to pick up the engine from Jason and drop it back in. I got an ECU from Emerald and need to wire that in plus a wide band lambda, EGT thermocouple and 520cc injectors, (I believe all what should have been done first time around, however).

It really is great to see you guys experience success and it seems Phil has come up good with those engines...top job on that front Phil. With reports like this, it's got to make the S6 ownership far more attractive to the more nervous enthusiasts. Best of luck with the rest of the season you guys it would be great to see a flash of orange at the front of the pack.... go for it.

Best regards

Graham smile

Thats great news Graham, hope it all goes well for you this time.

We really wanted to prove the SP6 on track, it would have been so easy to drop another lump in the T350 after last season but I had a couple of chats with Phil during the winter and I really felt we could go out and compete this season with the Wilder 3.8 powerplant. A win and a second place plus the fastest laps on our first outing is a dream come true. Hopefully we'll be competitive for the rest of the season.

P.S. How about a SP6 meeting at one of the races this season? Snetterton is the next round on May bank weekend. Testing Saturday 3rd May, qually and races 4 / 5th May. Be great to see some more SP6 owners in the paddock.

I've been updating the tvr racing web site recently and in addition to the usual race reports and images I've added a video gallery too.

Below is a link to the on-board footage taken at Snetterton a couple of weeks ago, this was the second class B race win for the Track Car Solutions T350R powered by a Wilder Fury engine.

P.S. Any feedback on the site most welcome.
