Hi,

I changed oil today and to get all the oel out of the block I loose the plug on the front left side where the two oil-pipes are attached to the block.
Unfortunately I didn't know there is a spring and a little piston in it and it fell out. Now I don't know how it was in!!!
Could you please help? I attached a pic with the two versions. To me it looks like it should be A but I'm not sure.

Thank you...........Peter

Oh!
Thats the oil pressure saftey relief valve

Photos not so good, but think of it as the end that goes into the block will have a angled seat that will seal under the spring pressure.

The engine sump plug is on the other side next to the scavenge hose

Hope this helps
