sudden increase in indicated oil pressure?

Hi all,

I think I might need a new sender but I noticed today that the oil pressure reading on the pod is now showing around 6psi higher than it would do normally - at all rev's/temps. It used to show around 24psi at hot idle but now shows around 30psi. Normal running reads around 60psi, up to around 70psi with hard acceleration. Seems a bit odd to me but is it just a case of changing the sender unit? Or could this be indicating a blockage somewhere?
