Can anyone point me in the direction of a plug spanner which will work on the speed 6 please? I have a long reach box spanner type but it will not fit down the plug holes. Thanks.
Halfords "professional" range of plug sockets fit perfectly on my 2005 engine.I use halfords professional, works fine, But I have the there latgest socket set, but they do sell them separately.
Good quality, lifetime guarantee, If it breaks, take to any branch, they swap it no questions, no reciept required. Make sure the The plug socket is from the professional range as they have thinner walls,
If your dont fit, swap it

I wonder if it's the gap in the head or the size of the Halfords pro sockets which are changing then? When I took mine in to try and find a slimmer one I compared it too the other pro plug spanners they had and they were the same as the one in my set. Knowing TVR they probably bored different size holes each week depending on what tools were sharp

Think it may be down to the drive size. I bought one today from Halfords and the 3/8 socket is thinner walled than the 1/2 inch version. Hopefully it´ll do the trick. Thanks for the help all. Gassing Station | Speed Six Engine | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
