does anybody know if it is possible to remove the front timing chain cover with the engine in place?

thanks Graham, i copied that from another thead. I have a whine coming from the lower adjuster area sounds like a bearing to me so I wanted to pop the cover and have a look.

It was not possible when I had a leak from it(I think the oil pump from memory) a couple of years ago, maybe now someone has a way of doing it?

I think you would be safer taking engine out so the crank and cover dosent get damaged during removal
