Recommendations for an independent engine inspection?

I need to get an independent inspection done of my stripped engine, as I'm not happy with the decision given by the warranty company after it failed.

Can anyone recommend someone in the Essex area who would be able to do this?

Ed, there was a guy on these forums that had an AutoCraft S6 inspected following a failure - might be worth nosing about and contact him.

That was me...and Jason has restored my faith in both the engines and people who make a living out of TVR owners. He stripped my engine and gave me a clear diagnosis on what was negligent, what was bad luck and what the chain of events was that lead to the engine's demise. It was a bit like watching CSI. He runs an open workshop so any warranty company representitive will be able to come along and argue their case with someone who knows the SP6 inside out...which could be amusing for you. 07834 739307 is his number, or you can find him at Henley TVR.
