Speed Six crank

After reading the thread on the Al Melling talk (all 20 pages) which I found very interesting and answered a lot of questions for me, I am wishing to delve a touch deeper into it. The crank which I guess is the cast variety has a big counter weight on the front end, this is to dampen down the unbalanced crank I guess, so taking the engine over 6.5k is a no no in my book. Are forged cranks available and where from? not that I am going to buy one but as a speed six owner I am constantly looking to the 'day' when it needs a rebuild and I already have the info available.
