Trouble at 6200 rpm
Discussion
Hi !
My Cerbera SP6 did like that last year. It was the cranksensor wire that was routed to close to the HT leads.

My suggestion is that you hook up a computer with the newer version (yellow cerb in the background) of the SP6 software and make a recording of the realtime monitor window. Then it´s possible to scroll along the timeline and see what happens with the different values from the sensors.
Good luck
Peppe

Yer, Yer - I was robbed of 1300rpm!
I still think it's freeky how the cars are so close.
Went for a spin on the Evo triangle on Sunday, but when I got up there it was drizzling. Found a side road that was pretty good across the top the lake.
Thinking of organising a spin on the 30th. Still undecided about going on DA trip around scotland.
Cheers

Sounds to me like you have wear in the throttle bodies, try holding the car on a light throttle at about 50 mph in top gear and see if it has a flat spot and hesitation. If it does you have the classic signs of worn spindles. We do an exchange modified set which cures the problem. I gave the design to the factory but they only started using it about a month before they shut down.
Sounds like the same problem. It will hit the rev limiter when not under load or occasionally when it's in first, but for other gears it's still there.
I've changed the chip so it's not that. I've moved the HT leads away from the crank sensor. It doesn't seem electrical as it doesn't die but just hasn't the power to go through 6200 rpm.
I think it is either the crank sensor but why would it only occur under load or the fuel system. Suspects might be the injectors or the fuel pump.

just out of interest, when did you last get your top end clearances checked/adjusted? reason for asking is my T350 experienced similar symptoms, like really struggling at 6k+. Was really fearing the worst and turns out the clearances on one of my exhaust valves had closed up and the valve wasn't closing properly, thus losing compression.
