Been keeping an eye on my spark plugs and have noticed that cylinders 5+6 (2 nearest front screen) plugs are black compared to the others.

I know this must mean its running too rich on those cylinders, but why just those???

Carbon canister purge solenoid?
Weak spark?

Throttle bodies out of balance perhaps, or leads or coil pack, the list goes on, if it's running ok then i wouldn't be bothered how clean they are.

No thanks Al, added thread here to see if there were more ideas..

Car can run a bit lumpy at higher revs. Plugs 5+6 noticeably more dirty than others.

Check the condition of the HT leads, and also how they are routed compered to the cranksensor wire.
