C'mon you should all be up for this event - if you don't support it it's going to be cancelled.

Well you might get answers to your questions and learn something as well.

I have no questions to ask about the S6. If I wish to "learn" something in relation to the engine I will visit a trusted independant.

As a SP6 owner and with one that has already had a rebuild, I'm not that interested in what was and possibly still is wrong with the engine design and/or components used. Surely this is just going over old ground yet again. I've already taken the plunge and bought one with eyes wide open. What I am interested in is how people are solving these problems and at what cost and correct me if I'm wrong but AM is not offering a solution that someone can buy from him.

But he is offering a good engineering overview about this and all engines upon which to base your decision. It's odd that many seem to incorrectly dissmiss this event as a sales pitch whereas you dissmiss it because it is not a sales pitch, lol. Either way it is unlikely to ever happen now; a great loss.

Sorry Daftlad I need to be more careful where I make my insertions in future !. For the avoidance of doubt and any legal proceedings twas my car that had the rebuild and not Daftlad's.

Did I mention that I'm a psychic and often see into the future !

Maybe......but so far MrsS and I have owned over 150 vehicles and had only two engines let go. A 289 Griff that decided the flywheel no longer wished to be joined to the engine, the other when a conrod stepped out of the block in a Mk II Lotus Cortina whilst trying to keep up with a 600cc motorbikelaugh.

I was a young hooligan then without much respect for motors...bit like many of the current .....no best not go there. wink

No comments about old hooligans please.
