When cold running oil pressure is fine but when she is running warm/hot oil temp is in the 80's and pressure is fine till i stop in traffic and oil pressure drops suddenly to almost zero.Is this normal???

When the oil in mine is hot (75C+) and I'm at the lights, 8 or 9 PSI seems normal. It does seem to vary from car to car though.

Any lower than that and you probably need a new sensor. It's a common fault - I had it in my '04 T350 but it was fixed under warranty.

Get it fixed ASAP. Too risky to assume sensor.

I fitted a digital dial, as the old analog version was too erratic. My readings are:

Idle at start up 75-80

4,000 revs when hot 40

Idle when hot 10-15.
