What does it mean if the cylinder head has SP6 RR stamped on it, does it mean red rose or is it nothing to do with it. The engine is a speed six.

I think its to do with the rebuild as I have read a thread like this before and someone from Blackpool explained what it stands for but I am pretty sure it does not stand for Red Rose.

Kev, I think it was KirstM who explained it stood for "remove and rebuild" or "remove and replace" or something like that.

Makes sence Dave, didn't think it would be a red rose because i have contacted the previous owner and he didn't know that it was a red rose, and i think if it was a red rose then they would have been quick to bump up the price a little.

Out of interest i have a genuine factory red rose T350t and it has SP6 RR on the engine....as far as i'm aware it hasnt been rebuilt. Seems odd that they would actually stamp it for 'removal and rebuild' ? Unfortunately im not answering the question i know just thought worth a mention !

I have just remembered that when my engine was rebuilt, it had stamped on it "REWORKED" that's now just confused me more now.
