i've had a failure on my tamora involving valves which is requiring a top end rebuild. my warranty is covering about 70% of this, and having discussed it with the garage, i going to have the engine blueprinted, and have the known weak components replaced (ie cams).

this is a 2002 3.6 engine, with about 19k on the clock.

my question for those who've done similar work to their car is what was the difference you noticed after getting the car back? that is from healthy state previously (not stuttering and blowing blue smoke) to post engine rebuild?

Is this through the TVR warranty? As it's a 2006 car, as is mine, I assume so. I ask as my dealership won't do any warranty work on the engine (rebuild!) as there's nobody to pay them.
