As the title says can anybody name the lump and what its in.

Its a bit blurry sorry


Edited to say name is make but tell me the bhp and torque.

I have put it in the SP6 forum as i presume this is where it would be appreciated most..

Oh and its not going to be run with air filters. May cut the bonnet to show off the trumpets.

Just thought of somthing else. What car was the engine originally built for ?

Ford V8. Dunno the car, maybe a late 60's/early 70's british ford? Actually that cant be right, is it an old TVR?

It looks like it maybe a 289 Hipo Ford in a TVR Tuscan or Griffith that someone still can't find a way through the drivers side manifold for the steering rack depite modifying the footwell wink

A guess at 400BHP and 450ft/lbs of torque?? Standard hipo was 279 bhp IIRC

Yes its a Ford and yes again its going in a Griffith Lightweight. And it was originally built for the GT40

Should blow a few doors off on the track.. hehe

I have changed my mind on revealing the torque wink
