Plaese could any one tell me if these are easy to get hold as I wasnt to remove mine for a bit of a winter clean.

my rocker cover is away being powder coated at the moment, was told to just use any black silicone sealant, i think the stuff iv got is called fixall non solvent sealant. will let you know on friday if it works or not! :0

Thanks for the reply , I was thinking of getting mine powder coated can you let me know of the approx cost ?
My other option was to hand polish it but gods knows how long that will take!

Mine has been powder coated (Candy Apple Blue) looks stunning. Being fitted at the moment. Will post when i get some photos

Just seal it up after like the man said

£40 for the rocker cover, £220 in total including my spiders being done.

my one is red and black but its a richer looking red than is on the tuscan s/sag engines. will post pics at weekend,stunning!

Do you know the tourque settings for the bolts ?

Sorry dont know torque settings but should think they are fairly low and advisable to to them in stages end to end and side to side.

i asked a dealer, was told >> just mayerk the bastards up tight and check them every now and again as they do tend to come loose from time to time. yikes

right enough when i took it off some of the bolts were easily undone.

If you remove the speed 6 rocker cover use a silicone sealent to reseal as used from new on all of the speed 6 engines, and when tightening the rocker bolts be careful as I have had a few that strip the thread on the head and this means inserts.

any pics yet as while mines off i might as well get it done?
ps loctite 598 for sealing up rocker cover and plug cover.
